The Blue Edition is presented with both a fabric Porsche strap and stainless steel bracelet, while the Red Edition is secured on a red alligator strap with gold pin buckle. Both pieces are powered by TAG Heuer’s Calibre Heuer 02 chronograph movement with 80-hour power reserve and a custom winding rotor taking the form of Porsche’s three-spoke steering wheel.
The 42mm tricompax chronographs are offered in stainless steel – the 500-piece Blue Edition – and 18K rose gold – the 250-piece Red Edition. TAG Heuer has selected two of the 27 vivid colors that the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 was offered in – red and blue – to recreate the branded livery that ran along the side of the pure white cars and now flows down the caseband of the new individually numbered limited-edition chronographs.
To celebrate five decades of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, TAG Heuer is launching two limited edition Carrera models, transposing memorable design features of the car to the watches.
